Mr. Paul Unger - About Me

I am the second oldest of four children, and I grew up in South City St. Louis in Epiphany of Our Lord Parish. I have pulled up my city roots and moved out to Florissant where my wife, Laura, and I have a home. Laura is a Speech Pathologist in the Ferguson/Florissant School District, and she works with special needs children. We are members of All Saints Parish and were married here in October of 2010. We immediately fell in love with the All Saints community and all of the people who have made it the special place it is.

Unfortunately, my art education in my younger years was very limited, but my parents always nurtured and encouraged me to use the talents given to me by God. I want every student to be able to express himself or herself creatively and positively. I am eager to share my love of art with the students and show how it can bring joy into their lives and the lives of others.

I consider myself very blessed and fortunate to be teaching all grade levels at All Saints. Working with the many age levels, personal interests, and artistic styles is a welcomed challenge. In looking at various styles and works in art's history, we will explore the many beautiful and interesting forms art can take.

In my free time I love to draw and paint, play softball, enjoy my vast collection of old and new movies and music, read, and spend as much time as I can with my wife.

Oh, in case you have not yet heard the news...my wife and I are expecting our first child in February.
